In 2006, my wife and I, as well as four other families, moved to Tacoma to start New Community Church (NCC). Our lives had been so significantly impacted by the kindness and love that were shown to us in other church communities that we wanted as many people as possible to experience the same thing. NCC was my first real brand, and it has evolved since its inception. One thing that hasn’t changed is the desire to create a brand that is approachable, clear, and authentic…just like the people that make up the church itself. As far as “passion projects” go, this is a big one for me. After almost a decade at Hemisphere, my “side hustle” became my full-time job and since 2019 I’ve been championing this brand and building a team of talented volunteers to take it even further.
